Each Roth tank is actually a tank inside a tank, with a blow-molded, high-density polyethelene inner tank encased in a weld-free galvanized steel outer tank. The inner tank is impervious to the corrosion that can cause an all-steel tank to fail prematurely, because oil does not corrode polyethelene. The steel outer tank provides stability and will completely contain the tank's contents if the inner tank is ever compromised. The tank fittings are located on top of the tank, eliminating a possible point of failure. These tanks are so reliable that Roth offers 10 years of insurance against any oil release and plus a 15-year product warranty.
